Fascinated by epic stories, I find myself in awe of rituals and belief systems - and consider them in an attempt to address ideas regarding birth, death and resurrection. It is my hope that interweaving elementary and ethnic ideas and symbolic language will offer the viewer a variety of interpretations and meditations.Yet, the universal may be too easily overlooked in the swift pace of “everyday” life. Any subject, closely regarded, holds a density of meaning - and I hope that through attention to the splendor of creation and experimentation with a variety of visual choices there may be a hint of the wonder we can find…. If we only look……
